She passed MBBS from Medical College, Kolkata which is the Oldest medical college of Asia and the top medical college of West Bengal. She completed her Master of Surgery from Eden Hospital,Medical College, Kolkata in Gynae and Obs. Her thesis was presented in various conferences and was awarded recognition for it. She has participated and successfully completed various courses on Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy from different institutes. She has presented papers and posters in various conferences. She has a long practicing career of 20yrs from 2006 till date.
Her knowledge , dedication as well as her caring and compassionate nature makes her patients feel comfortable and deeply satisfied. She treats her patients with sincerity and empathy and nutures a wonderful doctor patient relationship which her patients cherish a lot.
She is a member of Bengal OBS and Gynaecological Society (BOGS). She is also a member of the medical board of South Point High School. She performs all types of Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgeries including Hysterectomy (Removal of Womb), Myomectomy (removal of tumour), Cystectomy (chocolate cyst), Ovarian Drilling (PCOD). She treats young girls with distressing symptoms of PCOS and helps them to get back a healthy lifestyle and regained self-confidence.
She treats all types of INFERTILITY problems. Many of her patients are experiencing the joy of being parents despite having problems in conceiving for a long time due to PCOD, Fibroids (Uterine Tumours), Endometriosis (Chocolate Cyst). Test tube baby is not the only solution to infertility for her patients.
She has successfully treated many critical patients suffering from recurrent miscarriage, pre-term delivery and for implantation failure. Dr Anuradha Roy has the experience of managing High Risk Pregnancy which includes Diabetes, Hypertension (high BP), Epilepsy, Thyroid Disorder, inadequate growth of the baby (IUGR). She believes in patient centred care and individualization of treatment. She is well versed with both normal delivery and cesarean section. She has expertise in performing emergency Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic services like Ectopic Pregnancy (pregnancy in the tube), incomplete miscarriage, removal of polyp etc. She keeps herself updated regularly on the latest developments occurring in the field of Gynae and Obs throughout the world. She is managing the patients in the line of evidence based medicine. She responds to emergency calls and promptly attends her patient's queries.
